Holiday Hangover

Over at my house, we're all suffering from a major Holiday Hangover.

You plan for months for the winter Holidays. You shop, wrap presents, give them, receive them. You dress up, drive to a family party, eat, dine, the whole shibang. You go see the lights, you carol, you bake gingerbread men. You even deal with listening to different variations of the same Christmas songs over and over again. Once Turkey day passes, then you have Christmas, then you have New Years. It just so happens that New Years was last night...so now...the Holiday Hangover hits.

And just how does this Hangover hit?

Like a ton of bricks.

To the chest.

In order to keep on top of the slightly empty feeling caused by the holiday's passing, my family is doing some major planning, resolving, goal-making, and affirming. We have this fantastic opportunity to write a brand new 365 page book...and why not make it a good one?

I've made a 50-item-long "New Year's Resolution" that I INTEND on keeping all year long, making it possible by diving it up into monthly goals, challenges, and giving myself weekly check-ins to see how I'm doing on the challenge I've set for myself. Starting tonight, Daily Yoga, 60-day Book of Mormon Challenge, and a whole bunch of personal resolutions.

I even made a planner to keep on top of everything!

Yep, Holiday Hangover is here. But so it 2014. And I'm determined to make it the best year yet for not only me, but my super duper little family.

2014. Bring it on. (:
